Purpose:

• To disseminate information regarding SPAPN’s activities and needs. 
• To understand the process of role transition, pitfalls and pearls, and areas for opportunity in order to make successful decisions when transitioning roles. 

Objectives:

• Identify important areas to explore on when considering accepting a position
• Identify practice challenges in different areas in psychiatric advanced practice nursing
• Discuss the importance of balancing career and personal life 

This activity has been submitted to the New Jersey State Nurses Association for approval to award contact hours. New Jersey State Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s COA.
